Shoah Week

Yom HaShoah, or Holocaust Remembrance Day, commemorates the lives and heroism of Jewish people who died in the Holocaust. Each spring, our community comes together at the Manitoba Legislature with municipal, provincial, and federal government representatives to commemorate the six million Jews who perished in the Shoah. This ceremony features candle lighting, music, readings and prayers. All are welcome to attend.

Following Yom HaShoah, there are week-long commemorations in our community, including synagogue services, film screenings, and educational programs.

Look what else we have to offer!
