Lukashenko: What Is He Thinking? Dr. Orysia Kulick teaches in the departments of Political Studies and German and Slavic Studies at the University of Manitoba. She received her PhD in History from Stanford University, after which she held post-doctoral fellowships at Trinity College Dublin and the University of Toronto. Her dissertation analyzed local Ukrainian bureaucracies and the personal networks that shaped Soviet Ukrainian relations with the Kremlin. This presentation aims to clarify the evolving situation in Poland and Belarus, involving the migrants from the Middle East.
