Winnipeg is located in the southern part of the province of Manitoba. The city is about 110 kilometres north of the United States border and about the same distance west of the Ontario border. Flying to Toronto takes around two hours, while a flight to Vancouver is slightly more. This is one of the many reasons why Winnipeg is now referred to as the “Heart of the Continent”.
