Sunday, September 7th Jewish Federation hosted a Rosh Hashanah Gourmet Honey Tasting at the Forks Market to give over 200 visitors an opportunity to learn more about how and where to celebrate the Jewish New Year.  Honey tasting sponsored by local gourmet honey producer John Russell Honey Company and honey cake samples from Gunnís bakery were event highlights along with shofar blowing exhibitions throughout the day. Visitors participated in a FREE raffle to win seats to holiday services and honey gift baskets at this low barrier event aimed at creating inroads into community.
