Please forward this invitation to staff and volunteers in the organization involved with programming for school age children through young adults, including youth leaders.

Youth continuity is strategic for the long term wellbeing of the Jewish community and requires the involvement of volunteer leaders from every Jewish organization that engages youth.

Daniel Held, the Executive Director of The Julia and Henry Koschitzky Centre for Jewish Education of UJA Federation of Greater Toronto will join us electronically and inspire us to create lifelong Jewish journeys.
Maya Cohen, Director, Centre for Jewish Identity, will join us in person for the evening.

The Jewish Federation’s Community Forward planning process highlighted planning for youth as a priority.

The needs raised through our Community Conversations in 2017 were twofold:
Ensure continuity from one age group to another and across the community, to connect children and youth and keep them connected as they grow into teens and young adults.
Fill program gaps for specific age groups if required.

The Community Planning Committee is committed to action planning and strategy development in a number of priority areas.
