More than 80 major donors of the Jewish Federation of Winnipeg gathered at the Canadian Human Right Museum on September 29, 2014 for the annual Combined Jewish Appeal (CJA) ‘Top Donor Kickoff’. Set in the lovely Garden of Contemplation, the highlights of the evening were a guided tour throughout the museum and inspiring words from Top Donor chairs Hope and Howard Morry, and CJA Co-Chair Bob Silver. With the theme of the Federation being ‘Our Future, Powered by You’, all three spoke about the important needs of the community, and how the best vehicle to assist is through the Combined Jewish Appeal of the Federation. The event hosted more top donors than ever before, indicating the dedication of the top donors of the community to the Federation and helping the community! Howard Morry, the co-chair of the event, commented that “Our top donors show tremendous leadership in helping Federation reach its goal each year.”
