Concerns of Bullying and Harassment Directed at Jewish Students

A rapid increase of bullying and online harassment directed at Jewish students, especially on social media, has been expressed to us since tensions in Israel have escalated. Many feel ostracized by their peers for expressing solidarity with Israel, and some have even encountered threats.

Tonight at 6:00 pm, Jess Burke (Associate Director, Campus Advocacy and Community Training, CIJA) and Danielle Braitman (Emerging Gen Coordinator for Calgary Jewish Federation) will be hosting The Conflict: Concerns of Bullying and Harassment Directed at Jewish Students, aimed at supporting high school and university students during this difficult time.

Please share with concerned families, educators, young people, and others who may benefit.
