This summer, the Sarah Sommer Chai Folk Ensemble and Rusalka Ukrainian Dance Ensemble —two of Manitoba’s musical gems—are heading on a joint tour of Israel and Ukraine, where they’ll share the stage and engage in a cultural exchange unlike any other. The ensembles have developed a full show, with original compositions and choreography that will be performed for the first time while on tour. The tour will culminate in a trio of dynamic shows for Winnipeg audiences at the Seven Oaks Performing Arts Centre on September 8 and 9.
