Dr. Thomas Lutz: The Face of the (Lodz) Ghetto - Berney Theatre

Dr. Thomas Lutz, head of the Memorial Museums department of the Topography of Terror Foundation, Berlin and Curator of the Face of the Ghetto Exhibit will be speaking on the making, development and narrative of the exhibit as well as the history of the Lodz Ghetto. Lodz, or Litzmannstadt, as the Nazis renamed it, was the last ghetto to be destroyed, in August of 1944. This lecture is a feature of the Face of the Ghetto exhibit at the Ogniwo Polish Museum. Dr. Lutz's visit is sponsored by the Holocaust Education Centre, the Ridd Institute for Religion and Global Policy, University of Winnipeg and by German and Slavic Studies, University of Manitoba.
